The ClickArt brand was developed in the mid-1980s to bring you quality clip art that is fun, diverse, and easy to use. In 1996, we became a part of Broderbund Software, Inc., which develops, publishes, and markets a broad line of award-winning interactive software for use in homes, schools, and small businesses. The ClickArt product line offers thousands of options for you to choose from when creating cards, newsletters, labels, and more! Additionally, ClickArt images can be used with a variety of desktop publishing applications. Installation Instructions ---------------------------- Windows 95/98 To Install: - Begin at the Windows 95/98 desktop. - Insert the CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. - The ClickArt Christian Value startup window will appear. - Click the Install button and follow the on-screen instructions to install the program. If the ClickArt Christian Value startup window does not appear automatically on screen, you can install the program manually: - Click the Start button on the taskbar and choose Run. - Type D:\SETUP.EXE in the line labeled Open. (If your CD-ROM drive uses a letter other than D, substitute that letter for D.) - Click the OK button and follow the on-screen instructions to install ClickArt Christian Value. To Run: If the ClickArt Christian Value startup window does not appear automatically on screen: - Begin at the Windows 95/98 desktop. - Click the Start button, point to Programs, then ClickArt, and then to Christian Value. - Click the CompuPic Image Browser menu item to start the browser. To Remove: - Begin at the Windows 95/98 desktop. - Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. - Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon. - Click the Install/Uninstall tab and select ClickArt Christian Value from the list of programs. - Click the Add/Remove button and then click the Yes button to remove the program. Click OK to clear the screen. Windows 3.1 To Install: - Begin at the Windows Program Manager. - Insert the CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. - Click the File menu, and select Run. - Type D:\SETUP.EXE in the line labeled Command Line. (If your CD-ROM drive uses a letter other than D, substitute that letter for D.) - Click the OK button and follow the on-screen instructions to install the program. To Run: After successfully installing the program, a program group titled Christian Value will be created in the Windows Program Manager. It will contain an icon labeled CompuPic Image Browser. Double-click this icon to start the browser. To Remove: If you need to remove ClickArt Christian Value, begin at the Windows Program Manager. Double-click the ClickArt Christian Value program group. Next, double-click the Uninstall Christian Value icon. When prompted, click the Yes button to remove the program. Click OK to clear the screen. ************************************************************ 3. Troubleshooting ------------------ If you have any trouble running the installer, please do the following: - Exit all applications. - Run ScanDisk on your system. - Run Disk Defragmenter (Defrag) on your system. Both of the utilities listed above are included with DOS and Windows 95/98. If you are having trouble changing an image through the Image/ Convert menu, try going to the File menu and selecting Revert. If you receive and error message when saving an image as a cursor (.cur) file, resize the image to cursor size before saving the file. ************************************************************ 4. If the Software has been rightfully obtained by you outside of the United States, you agree that you will not reexport the Software, nor any other technical data received from The Learning Company, nor the direct product thereof, except as permitted by the laws and regulations of the United States, and the laws and regulations of the jurisdiction in which you obtained the Software. Government End Users If you are acquiring the Software on behalf of any unit or agency of the United States Government, the following provisions apply.
